Let Go of Shame

Posted on 2024-07-202024-11-01 by YADA

The parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) tells of a father’s great love. But it is also about one who, despite his shameful acts, did not let shame hold him back from seeking reconciliation. He embraced his wrongdoing, went on to get forgiveness, prepared to face the consequence.

The prodigal son could have stayed stuck in his past mistake but he chose freedom. There was a divine exchange when he repented – his broken heart was healed and the burden of shame released.

A very encouraging article. No one is sinless. We all have sinned and our Lord made provisions to reconcile us back to him. Devil is doing all he can to keep us blind. Salvation is opened to all. All we need is to reach out and claim his finished work. Thank you for this short content. God bless.
