Hebrew 11:3 says that “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” In other words, creation was made from nothing. God spoke and it came into being.
The creation story in Genesis 1 cannot be embraced by scientists for the lack of scientific proof. However, science cannot adequately explain how the galaxies or the universe came about. Man creates with something, only God can create out of nothing.
Consider how the earth together with seven planets hold its place around the sun in the solar system. Always moving, always staying in its own orbit, they never clash. Consider also the solar system is a part of a galaxy which comprises many other planets and stars. And there are millions of galaxies in the universe! Surely, there must be an invisible hand of a divine Creator holding everything in perfect harmony.
